About this speaker
Deb graduated in 1970 from the University Of Massachusetts with a Bachelor in Education (majored in Physical Education) and received a Masters Degree in Science in 1976 from East Stroudsburg. Deb was selected to the United States Field Hockey Team in 1968. She taught numerous places at all levels and really enjoyed the collegiate level at both Mount Holyoke in Massachusetts and the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Deb then moved to Cape Cod for almost 20 years and was employed as a tennis coach at Mid-Cape Racquet Club and Cape Cod Racquet and Health.
She fell in love with the wonderful game of Pickleball in 2004 and has not stopped since... close to 20 years. Her claim to fame is over 200 video productions (small snippets of 4-5 minutes in duration) and an accumulation of over 120+ competitive medals including Senior Pro Mixed Gold medal and triple Gold Medals at the 2023 US Open in Naples, Florida.
Deb currently can be found on mostly a daily basis teaching at Recreation Plantation in Lady Lake. She travels extensively throughout the country and welcomes you to invite her to your area for coaching sessions.
One of her favorite Mantras is "it is more about the whack than the yack!"
